Welcome Back !

It is lovely to welcome back our families at the start of another school year. Our Preps have had a great start with lots of smiles and have loved meeting their buddies for 2019. We had our opening school Mass on Sunday.



Such a special night for our Year 6 students. Dinner with the school staff followed by a beautiful paraliturgy and awards ceremony then a disco !Wild horses such a highlight of the evening ! 

Carols Night

Carols night is such a wonderful night on our school calendar and the children led us again in some beautiful carols and fun Christmas songs. Our Keyboard and guitar students played and our Preps presented their Yr 6 buddies with their Graduation Bears. 


Year 6 trip to Canberra

Our Year 6 students are back after a wonderful week in Canberra. The schedule was jammed packed with so many fantastic tours, exhibitions and activities. Each child came home with much to share, each with their favourite time and place over the week. 


SJV Garden Art Show

What a night! Our Art teacher Gabbi Davoren put together a display of amazing art for all to see, our junior children entertained us with some great singing, our budding musicians and singer, Evie, blew us away with their performances. 


Aerobics Championships

We are so proud of our Year 6 girls Aerobics team who came away with a Gold Medal from the competition held yesterday in Geelong. Our first time in this comp and they came away winners! Congratulations girls and coach Laura Heiberg.

Confirmation 2018

Congratulations to our Year 6 students who were Confirmed at the weekend. Thank you to those who have worked so hard in preparing our candidates to receive this sacrament.  

Footy Day

Hot pies, over excited tigers, laots of footy and plenty of cheers on our annual footy day. The AFL Roadshow provided our children with lots of fun activities, we had a great footy parade and hot pies and sausage rolls supplied by our mums. A great end to Term 3 ! 

John Coutis vists SJV

We were so fortunate to have John Coutis speak at our school. His messages of resillience, anti bullying, courage and determination should stay with our students for years to come. We opened our doors to the  community in the evening where over 160 people came to hear him speak. What a great day.

Fundraiser for St Vinnies

Congratulations to our Social Justice Leadership Group who ran a great Movie Afternoon Fundraiser. All students got to pick from 6 movies on offer. Popcorn was supplied, pillows were brought from home and we raised funds at the same time.  

Book Week

What a wonderful week we had celebrating Book Week ! Carp Productions presented a great play to our students on Thursday and Friday we had our annual parade. Our children and staff all took up the challenge and came dressed to impress in their costumes. 


Write A Book In A Day

An amazing group of our Year 6 and 5 students gathered to Write A Book In A Day ! It was a 12 hour marathon and the book they have produced is fantastic. Well done to our talented writers and illustrators on this great project and thank you to Fleur Peppard and Kenneth Radley for facilitating it.
